I’ve been trying out a new link tool today called SEO SpyGlass and I have to say I’m very impressed.

To start off, I’m impressed with the fact that there’s a Linux version of this software! It also comes ready for Windows and Mac.

It is a Java based link intelligence tool that you can use either for your site, or your competitors. It has a lot of features including getting the Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, domain and page PageRank, Directory listings, domain age and more.

Really, anything you need to do high level link analysis and building.

Web Ceo: A Good Value?

Over at SEOmoz there is an interesting thread which started because of this article writen by Guillaume.

In it he ponders the question of whether Web CEO is worth the couple hundred per year (not including monthly fees).

While he does make some good points, such as automated search engine submissions are not necessary, he does seem pleased overall with the product.

Reputation Management and Competitive Intelligence using "Google Alerts"

Google alerts is a nifty little free program that Google launched last year. It allows you to monitor Google for any mention of a keyword you choose. It will send you emails when it finds a new page with that keyword on it.

I currently use Alerts to track when someone mentions one of my sites, such as Textlinkbrokers.com. This is essential for reputation management. When someone mentions us, I can get in there and make a comment or respond accordingly. It also allows me to watch for feedback from customers.

In this article we look at 3 of the top rank checking tools and provide our insight into what we’ve found about these 3 ../../products.

Today we look at Web CEO, Agent Web Ranking, and Webposition Gold.
